[ comments (0) ] [ BallHype ] Just when you started getting optimistic about more baseball near Kenmore Square, a "mild weather system" decides it doesn't like the National Weather Service's derogatory tone and goes major on them, dumping rain on Fenway like, well, go ahead and enter your own tasteless tsunami or cyclone joke here.  Oh boy. That doesn't look good for baseball, does it.So, we may not get the nine innings done in Boston tonight, which could create a future scheduling snafu (there's one mutual date off for the teams in June but according to the Globe's Amalie Benjamin, the prospect of playing then brought serious groans from all involved), which could be worth noting down the line. In the meantime, here's Extra Bases to keep you up to date for whether or not the game's going to go on at all. It says here that it probably will because of all the TV snafus, but we'll have to wait and see. |
